When something isn't working
We can find the problem faster if you tell us:
- Your app version. It is in the small text at the bottom of Account › Data, on the line starting with “app”.
- Your phone and its system version, for example iPhone 15 with iOS 18.1, or Pixel 8 with Android 15.
- What happened, what you expected to happen, and roughly when.
- The request reference, if the app showed one with an error message. Press and hold it in the app to copy it.
You don't need to send your measurements or other health details for us to look into a problem.
Your health
We can't give medical advice, and nothing in the app is a diagnosis or a treatment. If you feel unwell, stop the trial and contact a doctor.
Your data and privacy
To see, correct, export or delete your data, or to use your other rights under the GDPR, write to privacy@n1trial.com.
Below, we explain how to delete your account or only some of your data.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why, and the Terms of Service set out how the app may be used.
Delete your account
You can delete your N1 Trial account and everything in it at any time, in the app or by writing to us.
In the app
- Open the N1 Trial app and go to Account › Data.
- Under “Your data”, tap “Delete” next to “Delete your account”.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap “Delete my account”.
Your request goes straight to our privacy team, and your account is locked on every phone signed in to it. We carry out the deletion by hand within one month. If your account has an email, we write to you when it's done; otherwise the app tells you.
Without the app
Write to privacy@n1trial.com from the email address on your account. If you've already asked in the app, include the reference it showed you. If your account has no email, we can only find it through the app, so use the steps above. We answer within one month.
What is deleted
Everything in your account:
- Your trials, check-ins and results
- Your conversations with your AI collaborator
- Readings from your phone and your connected devices, including the copy in the service we use for wearable data
- Your email, name, age and weight
What we keep, and for how long
- A record of your request and of what we did: the reference, dates and counts, never your measurements, messages or other health data. We keep it for 12 months after the deletion, so we can show that we carried it out.
- Backups of our database expire within 14 days. If we ever restore one, we carry out your deletion again, so your data doesn't come back.
- Records of your consents, for as long as we need them to show that we handled your data lawfully.
- Server logs for 7 days. Error reports are kept for the period set by our agreement with our error-reporting provider; the privacy policy will give it once it is confirmed.
- Sign-in codes: if we emailed you a code, our record of it is deleted about a day after the code expired.
- Emails we sent you: Scaleway, the service that sends them, keeps its own record of them (the address, subject, time and whether it arrived). We can ask Scaleway to delete it; write to privacy@n1trial.com.
- Outside N1 Trial: readings in your phone's health app and with your device's maker stay with them. Delete them there.
Everything we keep, and for how long, is listed in section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
Delete some of your data
You can delete these yourself in the N1 Trial app and keep your account:
- Your email: Account › Profile, then “Remove” next to your email and “Remove email”. It is deleted from your account straight away.
- Your name, age and weight: Account › Profile › About you. Clear any of them.
- A phone signed in to your account: Account › Profile › Phones signed in to your account, then “Remove” and “Remove phone”. That phone is signed out at once.
- A draft trial plan: Trials › Created, tap the bin icon on the draft's card, then “Delete for good”. The conversation with your AI collaborator and everything decided in it are deleted. Your other conversations, such as the one behind a saved or started trial, are deleted with your account.
- Readings from a device you've disconnected: Account › Data › Data sources. Under “Disconnected”, tap “Remove” next to the device, then “Delete these readings”. This deletes the readings it sent to your trials, and the results and trial-planning conversations that used them.
What we keep, and for how long
- Backups of our database expire within 14 days. Until then, what you delete is still in them, and it could come back if we ever restored a backup taken before you deleted it.
- An email you remove can stay in our record of sign-in codes for about a day. Scaleway, which sends our emails, keeps its own record of the emails we sent you; we can ask Scaleway to delete it.
- For a phone you remove, we keep its record, marked as removed, for as long as your account exists.
- All your readings, from your phone as well as your devices, also sit in the service we use for wearable data. Removing a device doesn't delete that copy; deleting your account does. Until then we also keep the device's name and model, marked as removed.
- Readings in your phone's health app and with your device's maker stay with them.
To have anything else deleted, write to privacy@n1trial.com and tell us what. We answer within one month.
